About me

I am a registered counsellor with Australia’s largest counselling peak body, the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).

I offer a calm compassionate space to navigate overwhelm, change, grief, caring responsibilities, and life transitions.

My approach is grounded, relational, and person-centred, with a strong focus on helping people feel heard, supported, and less alone during difficulty seasons of life

Alongside my counselling work, I have extensive experience supporting older adults and working with dementia and aged care settings. This has shaped a deep understanding of the emotional impact that caring, aging, loss, and transition can have on individuals and families. I also support carers and families navigating the complexities of dementia, including stress, exhaustion, anticipatory grief, family change, and transition into residential care.

Outside of counselling, I spend time in my pottery studio, Bramble Pottery, creating handmade pieces. I also enjoy hiking, gardening, the beach, quiet time in nature and of course family.

Grounded Counselling offers support that is gentle, authentic, and tailored to each person’s unique experience.

No GP referral required.

NDIS plan and self-managed clients accepted.

Important Grounded Counselling does not provide emergency crisis care. For life threatening emergencies please call 000 and request either Police or Ambulance assistance. My mission is to offer compassionate and forward-thinking care that truly empowers each person, honouring their individuality and strengths.
